Job Description

Samaritans Youth SHS Intake Officer role in Maitland (Lower Hunter) focuses on crisis intake, information/referral, and advocating for youth homelessness service users. You will support the SHS team with frontline assessments and ensuring access to appropriate pathways.

The position requires trauma-informed practice knowledge, strong communication, and partnership-building with local service providers. Previous intake experience is valued, with a versatile approach to complex cases.
