We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lending Manager to join our dynamic team. At Mortgageport, we believe customers deserve better and the Lending Manager plays a key role in fulfilling this mission with responsibility for acquiring current home loan clients by providing innovative home loan solutions using our comprehensive suite of products.

Duties and Responsibilities

n

n
- Achieve settlement targets as well as measures for application quality, client satisfaction & discharge rates.
n
- Identify, develop and maintain strategic alliances with referral partners.
n
- Provide a positive example and develop a culture where the attitude and behaviors align with Mortgageport values
n
- Meet the spirit and letter of regulatory and business compliance requirements, including NCCP.
n
- Identify and understand customer goals and objectives using effective questioning techniques.
n
- Develop an expert understanding of products, policies and processes to provide high quality guidance and advice to customers.
n
- Respond and resolve client queries in a timely and effective manner.
n
- Being visible in the local community by participating in community engagements and business development events
n

- Proven ability to manage a customer relationship throughout the sales cycle.

- Skilled at problem-solving to deliver positive outcomes for customers and the business.

- Skilled negotiator with the ability to resolve conflicts or complaints in a constructive manner.

- An ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure with minimal supervision.

- Skilled at business development with a view to creating more opportunities to help more customers.
