Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Machine Operators to operate steel reinforcement processing machinery. A forklift licence and overhead crane licence or experience are preferred.

Current vacancies are on day shift, with successful applicants required to complete their initial training on afternoon shift.
About the role n

- Operate off-coil, cutting and bending machines to process steel reinforcing bar.
n
- Load and unload materials, using forklifts where appropriately licensed.
n
- Monitor machinery and check finished products for accuracy and quality.
n
- Follow production instructions and safe operating procedures.
n
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
n
Shift times and pay rates nn
- Day shift: 5:30 am-1:30 pm | $36-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
n
- Afternoon shift: 1:30 pm-9:30 pm | $41.40-$46 per hour,
depending on experience.

Applicants must be available for afternoon shift training initially. There is no fixed training timeframe; the duration will depend on your experience and progress before moving to day shift.
What we're looking for n

- Previous machine operating experience, ideally within steel processing or manufacturing.
n
- Overhead crane licence or operating experience preferred, but not essential.
n
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety.
n
- Willingness to learn and confidence working in a hands-on production setting.
