Join our growing team! A position is available in our long established, modern progressive firm due to expanding client base and internal growth.

Our offices are a relaxed, open plan, team environment, located just south of Sydney close to public transport and adequate parking.

About the job n

Working closely with the senior manager, this role involves the provision of a broad range of accounting, taxation, business and support to our clients including:

n

n
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements.
n
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
n
- Communicating directly with clients.
n

To be successful, candidates will have the following attributes n

A very valuable understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax law for Individuals, Trust and Companies.

n

Excellent communication skills, including ability to email clients and communicate directly.

n

High level of attention to detail and ability to show initiative in completing tasks on your own as per Manager's instructions.

n





Ability to manage workflow of client base given to you and work based on time priorities.

n

Advance competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, including letters and spreadsheets for clients and the firm.

n

Ability to operate Xero (Advanced) and MYOB files proficiently.

n

Highly motivated individual and a team player with strong work ethics.

n

Have FULL working rights in Australia.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience and are looking to continue your career in public practice with ambition to complete or have completed your CA or CPA.
