About the facility:n
nThe 80-bed residential aged care home situated in Mackay, QLD has the passion and support from the local community to exist as a thriving Aged Care facility with the team focused on delivering high-quality care.n
About the role:n
nThe Clinical Nurse will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of quality care standards, compliance and education programs that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.n
Duties:n
n
n
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care sector, including ACFI and accreditation standards and processes.
n
- Coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff
n
- Support the Clinical Manager in all operations of the facility
n
- Assist the aged care home to strive for achieving 100% compliance with Quality standards 100% of the time
n
Skills and experience:n
n
n
- Current Registration as Registered Nurse
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Nursing or Social Sciences
n
- Aged Care Clinical Nurse/RNIC experience
n
- Experience in working closely with multidisciplinary teams
n
