Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care & Services is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of older Australians through innovative and evidence-based care. Our Get Yourself Moving programs support older individuals in Western Sydney, enabling them to maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Role Overview n

As a Physiotherapist , you will collaborate with a skilled team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and sports scientists to deliver high-quality care and rehabilitation services. Your expertise will contribute to structured programs designed to improve residents’ mobility, functionality, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities n

Working within our state-of-the-art facility , which includes a fully equipped gymnasium and modern treatment rooms , your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments of new and existing residents within our aged care facility.
n
- Developing and delivering individual and group exercise programs focused on mobility and strength.
n
- Implementing targeted interventions for residents with chronic health conditions.
n




- Designing restorative programs to support functional recovery and independence.
n
- Facilitating an innovative restorative respite program to assist individuals in regaining mobility before returning home.
n
- Providing effective pain management strategies tailored to residents’ needs.
n

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

n

n
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, with demonstrated post-degree experience.
n
- Current registration with AHPRA.
n
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Interest in cutting-edge aged care programs and rehabilitative strategies.
n
- Experience in aged care is highly desirable.
n
