Key Responsibilities n
1. IT Digital Asset Lifecycle Management n
n ● Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.n
n ● Establish and enforce best practices for asset tracking, compliance, and financial management.n
n ● Ensure alignment with IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) policies.n
2. Digital Configuration Management & CMDB Integrity n
n ● Ensure CIs are accurately identified, classified, and registered in the CMDB.n
n ● Maintain and improve CMDB data quality, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with governance standards.n
n ● Define and enforce policies for CI relationships, dependencies, and version control.n
3. Process Improvements & Automation n
n ● Identify and implement opportunities for automation in asset and configuration management to enhance efficiency.n
n ● Work with IT teams to streamline change management and incident response through better configuration data.n
n ● Continuously refine IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (ITCM) processes to improve visibility and control.n
4. Digital CMDB Data Audits & Compliance n
n ● Conduct regular CMDB audits to detect inconsistencies, missing records, and compliance gaps.n
n ● Implement data validation and reconciliation mechanisms to ensure ongoing CMDB accuracyn
n ● Work closely with IT security and compliance teams to support audit requirements and regulatory adherence.n
5. Data Analysis & Reporting n




n ● Analyse large sets of asset and configuration data to derive insights and drive decision-making.n
n ● Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on key asset and configuration KPIs, such as asset utilization, compliance, and service levels (CSLs). ● Provide actionable insights to optimise IT asset usage, reduce costs, and improve service reliability.n
Capabilities Technical & Functional Competencies n
n ● Strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (ITCM) best practices.n
n ● Deep knowledge of CMDB structures, CI relationships, and IT service dependencies.n
n ● Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM platforms, and asset management tools.n
n ● Solid data analysis skills, with the ability to work with large datasets using ServiceNow PA, Power BI, or other reporting tools.n
n ● Understanding of automation tools and scripting to streamline asset tracking and configuration processes.n
n ● Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, governance standards, and compliance requirements.n
