As a Casual Freight Coordinator , you'll play an important role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently through our Brisbane Airport operation. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities: nn
- Load and unload air freight and cargo
n
- Operate forklifts and other cargo handling equipment
n
- Complete freight documentation and system updates
n
- Coordinate safe and efficient freight movements
n
- Maintain warehouse presentation and housekeeping standards
n
- Follow all safety, aviation security, and compliance requirements
n
About You: n
We're looking for reliable, safety-focused people who enjoy practical work and can adapt to a dynamic operational environment.

This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy freight. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing the inherent requirements of the position.
n
Previous warehouse, freight, logistics or cargo experience is highly regarded but not essential.

- A current Forklift License

- A current Australian Diver's License and reliable transport

Working Hours: n
AIRWAY operates on a 24/7 rotating roster that may include early mornings, evening shifts, weekend work, and varying start and finish times. Availability to work additional shifts and at short notice is highly regarded.
