About the Company
n Our client is a large, well-established organisation currently investing heavily in its data and analytics capability. With a significant volume of customer and commercial data, they are looking to strengthen how data is translated into meaningful insights for senior business and finance leaders.
n This is an initial 6-month contract chance within a supportive, high-performing team working on a key enterprise program.
About the Role
n We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst who can bridge the gap between data, finance and the business.
n You’ll work closely with senior finance and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate curated data into meaningful dashboards, reporting and commercial insights.
n Key responsibilities will include:

n

- Developing executive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
n
- Working with Databricks and curated data across Silver/Gold layers
n
- Gathering and translating requirements from senior finance and business stakeholders
n
- Delivering financial and commercial reporting and analytics
n
- Turning complex datasets into clear business insights
n
- Bringing structure, governance and consistency to analytics and reporting delivery
n
- Working across technical and business teams to ensure reporting meets business needs
n

About You




n You’ll be a commercially minded Data/BI Analyst who is equally comfortable working with data and engaging with senior stakeholders.
n Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- Strong hands-on Power BI experience
n
- Experience working with Databricks or similar modern cloud data platforms
n
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Experience delivering reporting and analytics within a finance or commercial environment
n
- Understanding of financial reporting concepts such as accruals, general ledger, budgeting or forecasting
n
- Experience translating curated datasets into executive-level reporting
n
- Solid data governance and reporting practices
n
- Experience working within a large, complex enterprise environment
n
