We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Casual Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team at Miss Pearl Bar & Dining, located within the Melbourne Theatre Company, Southbank. You will work closely with our chefs to maintain a clean, safe, and smoothly running kitchen during high-volume service periods, ensuring our customers have a memorable dining experience. This role also involves supporting the kitchen for a variety of functions and events held at the MTC.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Casual position
- Support food preparation, dishwashing, and general kitchen hygiene
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety

- Shifts are Wednesday to Saturday evenings
- Hourly rate aligned with Level 2 (Kitchen Attendant Grade 2)

ABOUT YOU





- Previous experience as a kitchen hand or utility role in a busy commercial kitchen or events space
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene, HACCP, and safe chemical handling
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to keep calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid Australian work rights
