The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum GP VMO ED or Senior ED Doctor to support emergency services across rural and remote Western NSW.
This role suits a doctor with GP VMO ED or senior ED experience who wants strong earnings from FIFO locum work across rural and remote sites.
Short FIFO blocks, repeat bookings or ongoing patterns are available for upcoming dates, at up to $3,500+ per day.

Clinical Environment
• Rural and remote Emergency Department settings across Western NSW
• Senior ED responsibility, working as the senior doctor on shift
• Broad patient mix including adults, older patients, families, trauma and acute presentations
• Assess and manage acute and emergency presentations, with trauma and procedural care where required
• Work with local nursing teams and defined escalation pathways
• Coordinate retrieval, transfer or admission when needed

Requirements
• GP VMO ED or Senior ED doctor experience
• Recent acute care or Emergency Medicine experience
• Current ALS
• Current General or Specialist AHPRA Registration
• Australian working rights
• Comfortable being the senior doctor on shift in a rural or remote setting
• Able to work with local nursing teams and defined escalation pathways

Referral Program
Also, if locum work isn’t for you at the moment but you know another doctor who may be interested, we do have a referral program. Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
