The Role:
This opportunity will suit an accountant who enjoys hands-on accounting and wants to broaden their experience within a complex, ASX-listed business. Your initial focus will be on month-end processes, reconciliations and treasury payments, with opportunities to build exposure to tax and compliance and contribute to improvements in finance systems and procedures

Your responsibilities include:

- Preparing accruals and supporting month-end accounting processes;
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies;
- Reconciling intercompany balances across multiple entities;




- Review treasury and banking payments, including foreign currency payments;
- Develop policies and procedures to document best-practice across the accounting team.
- Support lodgement of monthly and periodic compliance obligations, including BAS.
- Assist with audit working papers
- Assist with the improvement of accounting processes and systems

Your Profile:
You may be an Assistant Accountant ready for your next step or a Financial Accountant looking to broaden your experience. Alternatively, you may be an Auditor seeking your first move into a commercial, ASX listed organisation.
