Job Description

We are an established Sydney CBD-based firm looking for a motivated law graduate, final-year law student or junior lawyer to join our team. We are strategic legal advisers to ASX-listed entities, private companies, venture capital and private equity clients. You will work directly with, and learn from, respected corporate and employment law specialists. You will have day-to-day client interaction and perform varied and engaging work while being mentored by senior staff.

Key responsibilities n

Provide transactional legal advice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, funds management and employment law

n

Work on sophisticated corporate transactions and advisory work

n

Interact with clients on a day-to-day basis

n

Perform varied and engaging legal work under mentorship from senior staff

About you n

Final-year law student with strong academic results, or law graduate who has commenced or completed College of Law (or other practical legal training),



or lawyer with up to 2 years' post-admission experience in corporate law or another practice area

n

Robust desire to pursue a career in corporate law

n

Willingness to learn, take ownership and embrace challenges

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

n

Keen attention to detail

n

Intellectually curious and commercially minded
