nAbout the Role n
nOn behalf of our client, an artisan bakery renowned for its wood-fired sourdough and commitment to traditional methods, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager. This role ensures our client’s premium products consistently meet the highest quality and safety standards. n
n
nKey Duties and Responsibilities n
nQuality & Compliance n
n• Schedule and conduct detailed audit inspections across production, storage, and dispatch, analyzing batch data and documentation to verify adherence to recipes and hygiene protocols. n
n• Identify variations in ingredient sourcing, fermentation times, or packaging, flagging high-risk areas to prevent quality drift. n
n• Recommend corrective action plans and process improvements to resolve non-compliance, such as adjusting proofing schedules or sanitation procedures. n
n
nTechnical Systems & Troubleshooting n
n• Diagnose and resolve system issues affecting ovens, mixers, or temperature monitoring software, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime. n
n• Test and identify functionality errors in inventory or scheduling systems,



ensuring code and configurations perform to specification under quality protocols. n
n• Perform architecture reviews of hardware and software used in order management and production tracking, advising on upgrades or replacements. n
n
nTraining & Documentation n
n• Develop and deliver technical guidance and training on operational procedures, including equipment use and quality checkpoints. n
n• Create and review procedural manuals, technical reports, and maintenance logs for ovens, proofers, and refrigeration units. n
n
nRequirements n
n• Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field. n
n• Minimum 1 to 2 years QA experience in food manufacturing, preferably bakery. n
n• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and auditing principles. n
n• Experience troubleshooting production software and hardware systems. n
n• Excellent communication and training skills. n
n• Relevant qualification to above field. n
