We are seeking a motivated and proactive Talent Acquisition (In-House Recruiter) to join our growing team.

n

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, with a primary focus on attracting and recruiting quality candidates across our demolition operations, as well as office-based positions supporting our residential and commercial business.

n

This is an opportunity for a hands-on recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships and making a genuine impact on workforce growth, with the added opportunity to develop broader Human Resources experience.

About the Role

n

You will manage recruitment across a diverse range of positions, including:

n

n
- Asbestos Removal – asbestos removal labourers and experienced personnel.
n
- Hand Demolition – demolition workers and general labourers.
n
- Machine Operations – excavator operators and machine support labourers.
n
- Transport – semi-tipper, hooklift and floater drivers.
n
- Office and Support Roles – administrative and office-based positions supporting our residential and commercial operations.
n
- Supervisory and Other Roles – supporting HR Manager with leadership and additional business positions as required.
n

Working closely with the HR Manager, hiring managers/key stakeholders and Compliance Officer, you will ensure recruitment requirements are understood, candidates are appropriately assessed and pre-employment and onboarding requirements are coordinated.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy briefing and advertising through to commencement.
n
- Source, screen and interview candidates across blue-collar, operational, office-based and supervisory roles.
n
- Create and manage job advertisements across HR System platform (Employment Hero) and other recruitment channels.
n




- Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support current and future workforce requirements.
n
- Work with hiring managers to understand role requirements, licences, tickets and experience.
n
- Coordinate reference checks, pre-employment checks and candidate communications.
n
- Support onboarding and induction processes in partnership with Compliance.
n
- Assist the HR Manager with employment offers, contract administration and broader HR activities as required.
n
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, reporting and candidate information.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Experience in talent acquisition, internal recruitment or agency recruitment.
n
- Blue-collar recruitment experience, preferably in demolition, construction, civil, transport or a similar industry.
n
- Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing and candidate management skills.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
n
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
- A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
n
- Experience using Employment Hero or other Recruitment Platforms.
n
- An interest in expanding your Human Resources knowledge and experience.
n
