Reporting to the Technical Services Manager we are recruiting for an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Technical Services team.
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
- Assist with the safe provision of surveying support to a range of activities typical to a large coal mining operation.
n
- Provide support for production, statutory plans, and civil and structural projects.
n
- Work in a team with other professionals and contribute to the timely provision of end‑of‑month volumes.
n
- Ensure alignment with business objectives, operational efficiency and resource maximisation
n
n
About You:
n
n
- Seeking/undertaking tertiary qualifications in Surveying or significant industry experience
n
- Experience in open cut coal mine surveying.
n
- Proficient user of Vulcan/Point studio, Microsoft Excel, Agisoft Metashape, DJI Terra, Global Mapper and ArcGIS highly desirable.
n
- Proficiency in using Maptek Isite Scanners, Leica Total stations and GPS
n
- Remote pilot licence with AROC certification RPA/UAV and experience with multi‑rotor DJI 350, Mavic 4, and VTOL Griffin Pro.
n
- Highly motivated, have a solid work ethic and demonstrate safe work behaviour
n
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
n
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience is a plus.
