Your role will involve a combination of warehouse operations, order preparation, stock management, customer service and occasional local deliveries. You will be an important part of our day-to-day operations, ensuring customer and trade orders are prepared accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities n
Prepare and organise customer and trade orders for collection and delivery
n
Pick, pack and check orders carefully to ensure accuracy
n
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
n
Receive incoming stock and assist with stock put-away
n
Assist with stock control and inventory management
n
Maintain and update our online inventory system
n
Assist with stock counts and identify stock discrepancies
n
Occasionally deliver goods to customers and job sites
n
Deal directly with customers, trade customers and installation teams
n
Answer and send emails and assist with general computer-based tasks
About you n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Organised and has a strong attention to detail
n
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
n
Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
n
A good communicator with professional telephone and email skills
n
Comfortable using computers and learning new online systems
n
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
n
Physically fit and capable of carrying out general warehouse duties
n
Current and valid driver's licence is essential
n
Confident driving a company vehicle and making local deliveries
n
Forklift licence or experience will be an advantage
n
