* Through the Manager of the Policy and Strategy team, provide timely advice to the Director, Policy and Strategy. * Identify, research, and analyse complex policy issues relating to matters impacting the justice system and develop evidence-based policy solutions. * Provide high level advice on relevant policy, legislation, strategies and programs, including the preparation of submissions, memorandums, reports, briefings and ministerial correspondence. * Liaise and consult with government and non-government organisations about policy and legislation, as required. * Support inter-departmental and inter-agency meetings. * Undertake other tasks as directed by the Manager, Policy and Strategy and Director, Policy and Strategy. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
