About the role:

- You will work closely with experienced litigators across a broad range of complex disputes, including:
- Complex corporate and commercial litigation, including contractual disputes and high-value claims.
- Corporations law disputes, including shareholder oppression, directors' duties and corporate governance matters.
- Insolvency and restructuring litigation, including claims involving liquidators, receivers and company directors.
- Banking and finance litigation, including disputes involving financial institutions, secured creditors and investment funds.
- Fraud, asset recovery and urgent interlocutory applications, including freezing orders and injunctive relief.
- Multi-jurisdictional and high-value proceedings before the Supreme Court, Federal Court and other jurisdictions.
- Developing litigation strategies, preparing court documents,



briefing counsel and participating in negotiations and mediations.
- Working directly with clients and Partners to deliver commercially focused and strategic dispute resolution advice.

The ideal candidate:

- Senior Associate or Special Counsel-level lawyer with significant commercial litigation experience.
- Experience gained in a top-tier, international, leading mid-tier or specialist litigation practice.
- Strong technical expertise across complex commercial disputes, corporate litigation or insolvency litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated matters and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills, with solid commercial judgement.
- Confidence managing client relationships and working directly with senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative, personable approach and the ability to thrive in a flat team environment.
- An interest in handling challenging, varied and intellectually stimulating litigation matters.
