About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Casual Wine Tasting Host to join our team in the Perth Metro, particularly South of the River. This is a casual position offering flexible hours, perfect for those seeking rewarding hospitality work with a dynamic winery. As a Wine Tasting Host, you will be the face of Yelverton Beverages, welcoming guests, conducting tastings, and sharing your passion for wine in an engaging and informative manner. This role is essential to building lasting relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive

2. Conduct guided wine tastings, educating guests about our wine varieties, production methods, and flavour profiles

3. Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on individual guest preferences and taste profiles

4. Answer questions about our winery,



vineyard practices, and wine collection with confidence and enthusiasm

5. Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming tasting setting

6. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

7. Handle customer enquiries and resolve any concerns with professionalism and courtesy

What We're Looking For

1. Genuine enthusiasm for wine and a willingness to develop knowledge about our product range

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse guests

3. A warm, friendly demeanour and natural hospitality instincts

4. Ability to work independently

5. Previous hospitality or customer service experience (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)

6. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

7. Reliability and flexibility with casual shift patterns

8. Ability to stand for extended periods and manage the physical demands of the role

9. A professional appearance and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

10. Must have a valid WA Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (RSA)
