About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Store Manager to lead a trade and industrial supply operation in the South Brisbane area.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, market-leading business with a strong customer base across the trade and industrial sectors. You will take ownership of store performance, lead from the front and build a team focused on sales growth, operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will be equally comfortable driving their own sales, managing day-to-day operations and developing a team that consistently delivers results.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Relationships

- Drive individual and store sales targets, KPIs and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and industrial customers.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and attract current business.
- Review sales reports, identify trends and implement strategies to improve results.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and product knowledge.

People Leadership & Performance

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Set clear expectations around sales, accountability, attendance and customer service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews,



coaching and development conversations.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and training where required.
- Build a positive, accountable and results-driven team culture.

Store Operations & Compliance

- Take ownership of daily store operations and overall presentation.
- Maintain strong standards across merchandising, stock control and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
- Oversee security, banking, reporting and end-of-day procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance and profitability.

About You You are a hands-on leader who understands that successful store management requires a combination of sales capability, operational discipline and strong people leadership.
You will ideally bring:

- Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or 2IC.
- Experience in trade, industrial supply, hardware, automotive, tools or a similar retail environment.
- A proven ability to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence interpreting sales data.
- The ability to coach, develop and hold team members accountable.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational improvement.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends where required.
