South Lake Early Learning Centre is a community based not for profit organization that has been servicing families in the South Lake community for the past thirty years.

South Lake Early Learning focuses on providing a secure, stimulating and nurturing environment for our kids and families. We provide nutritional meals as we educate and lay foundations for a lifetime of learning and happiness.

We are seeking an experienced Child Care Educator to join our close-knit and passionate team, with either a Cert III or Diploma in childcare for a 6 month maternity leave contract with the possibility of permanency at the conclusion of the contract.

What a typical day will look like with us as a CERT III:

- General care and supervision of the children





- Assisting in the delivery of an approved learning framework

- Engaging with children in their play and providing a stimulating and encouraging source of support

- Work as part of a team and contribute to a smooth-flowing, clean working workplace

- Tailor your playtime to the children's areas of needs and interests

- Complying with and supporting other educators with the service's policies and legislations

With a Diploma, you will also be responsible for:

- Working with the community and external agencies

- Designing, planning, implementing and evaluating education programs and practices, including following and implementing an approved learning framework

- Supporting and leading children's learning & development

Requirements:

- Cert III in Children Services AND/OR Diploma in Children Services

- Valid Working with Children Check

- Current Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)

- Current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)

- Geccko - Child Safety training completed
