About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Boilermaker to join our team and become part of our growing business. Our Boilermaker will be maintaining a high level of safety and quality while having a high degree of attention to detail, taking pride in their work and is responsible, reliable and an organised fast learner who can work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Examine detailed and interpret drawing and specifications to find out job, material and equipment requirements

- Cut, roll, shaper, bend, mould, spin, heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies

- Heat treat metal parts & components

- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled machines





- Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting or riveting

- Inspect all equipment prior to startup for malfunction or potential malfunction

- Bring to the attention of a Rimex representative any situation which is of concern or safety related

- Carry out all works in a timely and professional manner

- General housekeeping duties

- Manual Lifting

- Drilling – Tapping

- Grinding Rims

- Other Duties as requested

Things that will set you up for success

- You are a qualified boilermaker

- You have demonstrated experience and proficiency in Submerged Arc Welding

- You have a Forklift Licence

- You have full Australian working rights

- You are physically fit and can do manual tasks

- You have good communication skills

- You are passionate about your career

- You are energetic, team focused, with a CAN-DO attitude

- You have good time management skills are a great communicator

- You show accountability, honesty, transparency and integrity
