What you’ll contribute to:

We are seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to implement and embed priority capabilities within Revolution’s cyber security uplift program, taking end-to-end ownership of technical delivery from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment and operational handover. The role is highly hands-on and focused on delivering tangible security improvements that strengthen the organisation’s cyber security posture while ensuring solutions are effectively transitioned into ongoing operations.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Sydney Olympic Park office open only to Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

How you’ll make an impact

- Security Platform Enhancement: Configure, maintain and enhance security platforms, integrations, monitoring capabilities, alerting rules, dashboards and operational workflows across AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows, Linux, network and application environments to improve security visibility and operational effectiveness.
- Incident Response & Vulnerability Management: Investigate security alerts, vulnerabilities and incidents, executing remediation and corrective actions within approved authority levels. Partner with technical teams and system owners to drive risk-based vulnerability management, security patching and the timely resolution of identified security exposures.
- Security Controls & Risk Management: Translate security, risk and assurance requirements into practical technical controls and security solutions, ensuring security considerations are embedded within solution designs, cloud and infrastructure changes, backup arrangements, disaster recovery capabilities and business continuity processes.




- SOC 2 Controls & Compliance Uplift Implement assigned SOC 2 controls, remediation actions and security improvement initiatives, including technical configuration, process enhancements, control documentation, evidence collection and validation activities to strengthen compliance, governance and audit readiness.
- Privileged Access Management (PAM) Implementation: Lead the implementation and embedding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities, managing the full delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering and configuration through to testing, deployment and operational handover. This includes privileged account discovery and onboarding, credential management, access workflows, monitoring, access reviews and exception management.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Delivery: Design, configure, deploy and optimise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across endpoints, email, collaboration platforms and cloud environments, ensuring policies are effectively tuned to protect sensitive information while minimising impact on business operations and user productivity.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Operational Handover: Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Service Desk, application teams, business stakeholders, auditors and external vendors to successfully deliver security initiatives. Maintain comprehensive documentation, procedures and audit evidence, provide regular progress updates, escalate key risks where required, and ensure all implemented capabilities are effectively transitioned into business-as-usual operations with clear ownership, support processes and knowledge transfer.

What are we looking for?

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related discipline, along with hands on experience in cyber security,



technology operations or infrastructure roles within a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior hands-on cyber security role, with a proven ability to lead and deliver complex security initiatives, influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across technical and business teams.
- Proven hands-on experience implementing and supporting Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, including governance, configuration, monitoring, optimisation, troubleshooting and operational handover.
- Experience supporting security assurance and compliance programs such as SOC 2 and/or ISO 27001, including control implementation, remediation activities, audit preparation, documentation, evidence management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong technical expertise across cloud and enterprise environments, including AWS and/or Azure, Microsoft identity and collaboration services, Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, firewalls, VPNs, access controls, logging and security monitoring technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in vulnerability management, security monitoring, alert investigation, incident response and risk-based remediation, supported by a working knowledge of industry frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), ISO 27001, CIS Controls and ITIL.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, combined with a proactive, delivery-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, sound judgement, personal accountability and the flexibility to participate in on-call and after-hours support arrangements when required.
