Whyalla Beef is seeking to fill a number of Pen Rider positions with enthusiastic staff.

Feedlot

You’ll be working at Whyalla Beef, one of Australia’s largest and technically innovative feedlots. With a current capacity of 75,000 head. Located in the Southern Downs, 25km northwest of Texas on the Queensland / New South Wales border. The town of Texas is perched on the banks of the picturesque Dumaresq River.

- Daily livestock handling including pen riding and stock movements.

- Diagnosis of animal health symptoms.

- Maintain accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements.

- Contributing to other areas of the livestock team.

- Experience in animal welfare and health.

- Robust horsemanship skills - own horses advantageous

- Strong teamwork skills.
