About the role

Medical Centre 291 is seeking a caring, reliable and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our team. This role combines general practice nursing with blood collection and support for Bupa medical assessments. Working within your qualifications and scope of practice, under Registered Nurse supervision, you will provide patient care and support to GPs during consultations and procedures.

Key responsibilities

- Providing patient care and supporting GPs during consultations and procedures.
- Performing patient observations, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height and weight.
- Providing wound care, dressings and assisting with minor procedures.
- Supporting chronic disease management, health assessments and preventive care.
- Assisting with immunisation clinics, including vaccine preparation, administration where authorised, and cold chain monitoring.
- Performing ECGs and other clinical tests as trained and required.
- Collecting blood for Bupa medical assessments, including correctly identifying patients,



labelling specimens and arranging pathology collection.
- Supporting Bupa assessments with clinical observations, documentation and administrative tasks.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
- Following infection prevention procedures, sterilising instruments and maintaining treatment rooms.

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Competence and confidence in venepuncture and blood collection.
- Excellent communication skills and a kind, professional approach to patients.
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and reception staff.
- Current CPR certification.
- General practice experience and familiarity with Best Practice software are desirable.
- Experience with Bupa medical assessments is an advantage.
