Senior Systems Consultant | Project Delivery

Perth | Permanent | $130,000-$135,000 + super

- Own technical projects from initial scoping through to implementation and handover.

- Deliver Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365 and Azure projects across client environments.

- Proven end-to-end project delivery and hands-on Intune implementation experience are essential.

The Company

MARS Recruitment is partnering with an established technology services provider to recruit a Senior Systems Consultant in Perth.

This is a client-facing technical role delivering projects across Microsoft cloud, infrastructure, endpoint management and security. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop solutions and take ownership of successful implementation.

The Role

We are looking for someone who can independently deliver technical projects through the full lifecycle, from discovery and design to deployment, testing, documentation and operational handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Owning project scoping, technical design, planning, implementation and handover.

- Delivering Microsoft Intune implementations, including configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment and device enrolment.

- Completing Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations and up-to-date workplace projects.

- Delivering Windows 11 deployments and endpoint management improvements.

- Implementing identity and security solutions across Entra ID, Conditional Access and Microsoft Defender.

- Supporting cybersecurity uplift projects, including Essential Eight initiatives.

- Delivering infrastructure changes across Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualisation environments.

- Managing client communication,



technical risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.

- Producing clear technical documentation and ensuring a smooth transition into ongoing support.

About You

End-to-end project delivery is a must. You must be able to demonstrate projects you have personally owned and delivered from scoping through to completion.

You will bring:

- Proven experience as a Senior Systems Consultant, Project Engineer or similar technical delivery professional.

- Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Intune from initial setup through to rollout and handover.

- Strong technical capability across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and endpoint management.

- Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.

- The ability to work independently, troubleshoot implementation issues and remain accountable for delivery.

- Strong client communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.

- A background in an MSP or technology consultancy, ideally delivering projects across multiple client environments.

Experience administering an existing Intune environment or providing BAU support alone will not meet the requirements. You need a demonstrable track record of implementing solutions and completing projects.

Relevant Microsoft certifications and experience with Teams Calling, virtualisation and security uplift would be highly regarded.
