We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our professional team in Hampton Park.

Position Overview

As a Childcare Worker, you will provide attentive care and supervision for children in our non-residential childcare centre. You will support educators and teachers by preparing learning materials, guiding positive behaviour, facilitating recreational and educational activities, and ensuring the health, safety, and hygiene of all children in our care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's educational and recreational activities.
- Manage children's behaviour and guide positive social and emotional development.




- Prepare and conduct interactive, age-appropriate activities for children.
- Entertain children by reading stories, singing, and leading engaging games.
- Supervise children closely during indoor and outdoor recreational activities.
- Oversee and support the daily routine of children, including rest and transition periods.
- Supervise and assist with children's personal care, hygiene, and handwashing habits.

Requirements & Qualifications
- AQF Certificate, AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or higher qualification, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the position.
- Passion for working with young children in a professional childcare or early learning setting.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) minimum of 1 year work experience
- Excellent communication, patience, a nurturing disposition, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated team environment.
