The Role:

This is not your typical Facilities role, this is a leadership position with a strong emphasis on maintaining operational excellence across the Caretaking, Facilities & Maintenance division, ensuring the delivery of quality service to the communities in each site. We are seeking someone with a strong background in Facilities Management within the residential sector, and ideally also with experience leading and managing a Facilities team.

This is a 12 month Maternity leave contract, offering Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm) based in the head office in Fortitude Valley. The role will also involve some site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will involve overseeing work of the three Facilities Maintenance Coordinators as well as the Caretaking department. You will work closely with the Property Services team, Development team and wider business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in Facilities who might be looking to step up,



or an experienced leader, who enjoys developing people, solving problems and driving accountability. Core responsibilities include:

- Operational leadership - lead the Caretaking and Facilities teams within a growing portfolio of residential communities, providing mentorship and fostering accountability.
- Contractor management
- WHS oversight
- Project integration
- Manage operational escalations & complex issues
- Oversee maintenance systems, workflows, governance frameworks and operational standards.
- Drive accountability, consistency and quality assurance across maintenance records, approvals, documentation and close-out processes.
- Work collaboratively with Property Services, Development, Build and Corporate teams
- Maintain high standards of written communication, reporting and document control.

The ideal Candidate:

- Will come from a strong background in residential Facilities Maintenance
- Will have robust leadership skills and ideally experience leading and managing a team
- An understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence managing multiple sites, projects and competing priorities.
- Experience using property, maintenance or operational management systems.
