Financial Analyst

We’re seeking a proactive, hands-on Financial Analyst who enjoys working with numbers, improving systems and turning financial data into meaningful business insights. This role would suit someone who is commercially minded, comfortable getting into the detail and keen to expand their capabilities in a supportive, high-performing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond traditional reporting, get involved in process improvements and further develop their expertise across financial systems and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business performance and provide insights to support commercial decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and system efficiency
- Work with stakeholders across the business to understand costs, performance and operational priorities
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to help guide business planning
- Develop and refine financial models, reports and tools to improve visibility over key business metrics
- Investigate financial results,



highlight trends and explain key variances
- Monitor financial performance and flag potential risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Look for ways to get more out of existing systems, data and reporting capabilities
- Prepare meaningful financial information for management to support planning and decision-making
- Contribute to strong financial governance, accurate reporting and continuous improvement across the finance function

About you

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- Strong experience across financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Confidence working with financial systems, reporting tools and large datasets.
- A hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- The confidence to work with stakeholders across different areas of a business.
