The Position

Lake Joondalup Baptist College is seeking an experienced and values-driven leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Head of Business Services.

The Head of Business Services leads the College’s business, finance, people, and operational services, working in partnership with the College Principal and leadership team to support a safe, well resourced, and high performing PK-12 learning environment.

The Head of Business Services is a key member of the College Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the College Principal and working in close partnership with the Heads of Primary and Secondary and other Executive leaders. The role provides strategic oversight of the College’s business operations, including financial management, government requirements and funding, human resources, infrastructure and facilities, enrolments, marketing and promotions, risk and compliance, and corporate services.

The role exercises delegated authority from, and is accountable to, the College Principal for strategic oversight, decision making, and outcomes relating to the College’s business operations.

Operating within the College’s mission and Strategic Plan, the Head of Business Services leads with integrity and professional excellence, supporting a culture of collaboration, service, and continuous improvement. The role is responsible for ensuring the effective stewardship of College resources, enhancing operational systems, and enabling the delivery of high-quality education through efficient and sustainable support structures.

This role supports the College Principal in key portfolios that contribute to College-wide effectiveness through aligned systems and operational leadership. It works alongside other Executives and with staff across the College in a relational,



coordinated, and improvement-focused manner.

The Head of Business Services is an ex-officio member of the College Board and contributes to governance through the provision of timely advice, reports, and strategic insight.
