Clarity Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager – Projects to join an Australian energy solutions provider delivering end-to-end power generation solutions across Australia, integrating renewable technologies such as solar, wind and battery storage with traditional power generation.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to take on a senior leadership role, overseeing major project contracts and influencing commercial outcomes across a diverse portfolio.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead contract management activities from development and negotiation through to award, performance monitoring and ongoing management. You will provide strategic commercial advice, manage contractual risk and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure contracts deliver value while meeting governance, environmental, social and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the contracts team, promoting best practice across the full contract lifecycle.
- Oversee the development, negotiation, award and management of complex, high-risk project contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, identify commercial risks and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
- Drive improvements in contract management processes, policies and governance frameworks.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead the resolution of complex contractual issues and disputes.




- Work collaboratively with Legal, HSE and ESG teams to ensure contracts align with business objectives and organisational requirements.

What We're Looking For

- Extensive experience leading teams and delivering outcomes in a contracts or commercial management environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing complex, high-risk project contracts, or relevant project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of industry contracting practices, commercial policies, contractual risks and industry trends.
- Proven commercial acumen, with experience negotiating complex agreements and resolving contractual issues.
- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex commercial challenges.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- CIPS qualifications will be highly regarded.
