From our very inception in 1976 by Margo and Tom Hartley, Hilton Manufacturing (Hilton) has set the highest of standards in precision engineering and manufacturing quality.
Hilton remains a family owned and run business and has built on our founders' vision, now operating from two modern manufacturing facilities, our main Headquarters and manufacturing plant in the South-East of Melbourne, located in Dandenong South Victoria, with over 20,000 sqm of under roof engineering, development, and manufacturing facilities. And our northern manufacturing facility of 4,000 sqm in the Southern-West region of Brisbane, located in Wacol Queensland.
Hilton supplies components, sub-assemblies and final products across a diverse range of industries. Our experience and expertise in all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing including the rolling, forming, bending, pressing, folding, CNC router, machining, welding and polishing of aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel.
We are accredited to internationally recognized standards ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and ISO 3834 – 2 Welding.

About the Role

Ready to make an impact? We're looking for an experienced and driven Toolmaker to join our growing team in Dandenong South.

In this hands-on role, you'll build, maintain, and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling that keep our production running at its best.



You'll tackle tooling challenges, develop practical solutions, and play a key role in driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacture, repair, and maintain press tools, jigs, fixtures, and tooling components

- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately

- Perform precision machining, including milling, turning, grinding, and fitting

- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement effective solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as a Toolmaker within a manufacturing or tooling environment

- Robust experience designing and manufacturing jigs and fixtures

- Strong machining skills across milling, turning, grinding, and fitting

- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities

- Full Australian working rights

Desirable

Automotive, sheet metal, or high-volume manufacturing experience
