The Role:

The positions involve using an electronic voice-picking system to pick and pack grocery products up to 16kg in weight, in a fast-paced and repetitive environment. The role will require operating warehouse machinery and building secure pallets before they are sent to the retail stores.

You will be provided with comprehensive training and support, job stability, and the opportunity to be a valued member of the team.

Daily duties include despatch and staging orders, breakdown of inwards goods, voice picking, tugger operating and pallet wrapping.

safely and efficiently to deliver to the retail stores around the North-West regions of Melbourne.

Initially employed on a casual basis, with a fornightly/monthly roster offering an average of 20 - 30hrs per week (5-7 hour shifts), working 3-5 days per week.

The view to permanent part-time after several months, where you receive a generous pay increase, development opportunities and job security.

Shifts available (approximate finishing times below):
9:00am - 1pm (loader)

12:00pm - 6pm (loader) - priority
2:00pm - 8:00pm (loader) - priority

Pay-rate
$37-$40 per hour + superannuation

Required skills & attributes:

- Ideally have experience as a pick/packer or warehouse operator
- Forklift license would be advantageous
- Must be available 7 days a week for rostering purposes (D/S or A/S)
- Flexible with finishing times to ensure order completion
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace
- Voice picking experience advantageous
- Pallet stacking, wrapping and palletising would be viewed upon favourably
- Must be able to work unsupervised and use initiative
- High focus on quality, accuracy and productivity
- Own license and reliable transport is preferred
- Previous experience within temperature controlled warehouses are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
