Casual Medical Receptionist – Southside Clinics

MyLocalDoc is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist for a casual role across our Southside clinics. The position includes regular shifts at Rocklea and Silky Oaks Medical Centre in Manly, with additional leave coverage at Wishart and Tamborine Village Medical.

About the role

This is a casual position, so regular hours and shifts cannot be guaranteed, however, there is currently a need for approximately three days a week across Rocklea and Silky Oaks Medical Centre, Manly.

You may also be offered occasional shifts at our Wishart and Tamborine Village Medical clinics to provide leave coverage. Shifts will depend on the needs of the clinics and your availability. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working with different clinic teams.

Your duties will include:

- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and supported

- Managing phone calls, appointments and patient enquiries

- Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records

- Supporting the smooth day-to-day flow of the clinic





- Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses and other team members

- Handling patient information with care and confidentiality

What you’ll bring

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a general practice

- Robust communication and customer service skills

- Confidence managing competing priorities in a busy clinic

- A calm, positive and professional approach

- Flexibility to work across different clinic locations

- Good computer skills; experience with Best Practice
