Due to growth, we are looking for a Manager to join our team in Toowoomba. This is a role for someone who is comfortable moving between planning the day and week ahead, ordering materials and stock and serving customers.

About the role

As Yard Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly day to day. Leading a small team, you'll coordinate deliveries, allocate work to drivers, support customers, and ensure the yard operates safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that combines people management,



customer service and basic logistics, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in running an organised operation.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, support and coordinate a small yard and delivery team

- Allocate deliveries, vehicles and drivers to meet customer requirements

- Manage daily schedules and staff rosters

- Provide outstanding customer service to trade and retail customers

- Handle customer enquiries, issues and delivery adjustments as they arise

- Ensure products are prepared, loaded and dispatched accurately and on time

- Maintain a safe, organised and efficient yard operation

- Complete general administrative tasks, paperwork and system updates

- Work closely with management to improve processes and customer outcomes

- Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, service and teamwork
