Mount Larcom is a close-knit rural community located just 40 minutes from Gladstone and an hour from Rockhampton, offering a peaceful lifestyle with strong community ties. Our school has modern facilities, a supportive P-10 structure, and a leadership team that is visible, consistent, and values-driven. We are not a BYOD school, and all resources are supplied to students, which simplifies classroom tech integration. There is currently no Deputy Principal, so teachers work closely with the Principal and Heads of Department, creating an open and cooperative leadership workplace. Staff wellbeing is a priority , leadership is proactive in supporting teachers through coaching, flexible problem-solving, and WHS support systems.
