About the role

We are seeking an experienced, high-calibre Farm Manager to lead a large-scale, dual-enterprise beef and cropping operation on scenic Flinders Island. This pivotal leadership role involves managing a dedicated team of up to 12 permanent employees, alongside additional seasonal contractors during peak periods.

Key responsibilities
Drive daily operations across extensive livestock (Angus beef) and cropping programs
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of up to 12 staff and seasonal contractors to foster a productive work culture
Drive productivity, sustainability, and operational efficiencies across the entire portfolio
Collaborate closely with head office, providing comprehensive weekly operational reporting and financial reporting when required

About you
Proven Experience: Demonstrated track record as a successful Farm Manager handling large-scale, dual-enterprise portfolios.
Dynamic Work Ethic: A resilient,



"can-do" attitude with the flexibility required to thrive in a high-commitment, non-traditional farming schedule.
Dual Capabilities: A seamless blend of practical, hands-on field know-how with sharp administrative, financial, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent Communicator: Ability to motivate an on-farm workforce while maintaining transparent, qualified reporting lines to executive management.
