The Adelaide Food Network is a proud, family-owned South Australian food manufacturing business, producing quality handmade foods, pastries and baked goods for over 20 years.

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Casual Bakery & Production Assistant to join our friendly, close-knit team.

This position would ideally suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing a job well and is looking for versatile, part-time casual hours in a supportive, family-run environment.

About the Role

Working alongside our chef and production team, your duties will include:
Assisting with the preparation and production of handmade foods, pastries and baked goods
Supporting our chef with daily production requirements
Packing, labelling and preparing finished products
General cleaning and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
Working collaboratively with our small production team
Assisting with other general bakery and production duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and committed to their work
Has previous experience in food preparation, food handling, hospitality or a fast-paced production environment
Enjoys practical,



hands-on work and working as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Understands the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
Can work efficiently, follow instructions and show initiative
Is comfortable being on their feet and performing general physical duties throughout their shift

Hours & Availability
Casual position – approximately 10–20 hours per week
Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:00am and 3:00pm
Hours may vary depending on production requirements
No weekend work
