Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out
Greeting patients, verifying insurance, and updating patient information
Organising and maintaining patient files, records, and medical reports
Preparing medical reports, correspondence, and other documents as requested by medical professionals
Handling billing and insurance claims, including following up on unpaid claims and coordinating with insurance companies
Ordering and stocking medical supplies and maintaining inventory
Ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations




Providing general administrative support to the medical staff

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in an administrative support role in a medical or healthcare setting
Understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance systems
Solid communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients, doctors, and other medical professionals
Attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Computer proficiency with experience using medical software and databases
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
Ability to remain calm and qualified in high-stress situations.
