We are seeking an experienced Nursery person for our wholesale container citrus Nursery to work full time for a minimum of two years at our Kenley facility. The position requires the person to work outdoors and work in a multicultural team.

Certificate III or IV in Wholesale Nursery or Horticulture plus two years of full time post qualification as a Nursery Person or at least three years experience as a Nursery Person is essential.

Duties include, but are not restricted to:
budding and grafting vegetative material onto rootstock
applying pesticides to control pests, diseases, weeds and nutritional and environmental plant disorders
treating and sowing seed
deshooting/staking/tying of nursery trees
record keeping of all budding and grafting, potting up, rootstocks, and daily activities
supervising and instructing casual workers




checking moisture levels of plants and hand watering if necessary
preparing potting media and checking bags before planting
Selecting cuttings and seedlings for transplanting
Transplanting of selected seedlings

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
