We’re looking for a quality Accounts Payable Officer to join our close-knit Finance team at our Head Office based in Burswood.

About the role:

Supported by our Senior Accountant and wider Finance team, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable function, with responsibilities including:
Managing the accounts payable inbox and internal invoice approval process
Processing and maintaining supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Preparing weekly creditor payment runs
Building solid relationships with suppliers and managing queries
Supporting new supplier onboarding
Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with month-end reviews
Identifying opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiencies

What you’ll bring:




Previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment
Solid attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team
Experience with Greentree or a similar ERP system is advantageous, but not essential
