About the Role

We have an exciting chance for a detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our dynamic and quick-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Drafting Manager, you'll work collaboratively with a team of skilled professionals, with the flexibility to work from both our Port Melbourne office and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
Producing accurate working drawings using AutoCAD, including siting plans, floor plans, elevations, internal layouts, electrical plans, and façade details.
Ensuring all drawings comply with Building Codes, Council, and Developer requirements.
Reviewing site levels and designing site works.
Interpreting and incorporating structural engineering and energy efficiency requirements.
Liaising with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and planning authorities.




Assisting with town planning documentation and Council submissions.
Providing support on production and construction-related queries.

About You
A formal qualification in drafting (Diploma or higher).
Experience in a similar drafting role, ideally within residential construction.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read and produce detailed working drawings.
A solid understanding of the Building Regulations, Small Lot Housing Code, and NCC requirements.
Strong analytical skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.
A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork.
