About the Role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our IT team in Gladesville. You will keep our internal network, servers and end-user devices reliable and secure. You will also support the network needs of our security and building automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points and servers
Monitor network performance and availability, and optimise systems to ensure efficient operation
Diagnose and resolve network faults, and document the diagnosis and resolution
Manage user accounts, passwords and access permissions in line with security policy
Maintain IT asset inventory and network documentation
Monitor for and respond to security incidents,



and apply security updates and patches
Provide help desk support and training to staff on network and hardware issues
Support the network requirements of client-facing systems
Assist with infrastructure projects, upgrades and system rollouts
Work closely with our research and development team to drive new technology solutions

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Demonstrated experience administering and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, routing, switching and wireless networks
Working knowledge of network security, firewalls and user access management
Experience with network monitoring and management tools
Windows workplace and Microsoft 365 experience
Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues
