Delpro Technical Services provides field service support across Townsville and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to assist with in office Point of sale, EFTPOS and IT field service work, including equipment installations, swaps and basic troubleshooting.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in IT or electronics looking to develop practical field service experience.

We welcome applications from individuals seeking part time / casual employment , or experienced independent contractors looking for additional field service work in the region.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting a variety of customer sites.

The role would suit someone with a strong interest in IT or electronics, good customer service skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently.

You will be expected to work professionally, follow established procedures, maintain accurate records and represent Delpro to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Attend customer sites to provide basic technical support and troubleshooting
Perform diagnostics and repairs on PCs, peripherals, printers,



EFTPOS equipment and related hardware
Assist with EFTPOS installations, upgrades and equipment swaps
Support basic networking tasks
Maintain accurate job notes, service records and stock records
Conduct basic asset management and equipment checks
Meet response times, job completion requirements and documentation standards
Deliver professional and friendly customer service

What You'll Need
No previous industry experience required for employee applicants, although an interest in IT or electronics is preferred
Good communication skills and professional presentation
Reliability, punctuality and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Current Australian driver's licence
Access to reliable transport
Police check, or willingness to obtain one
