PARTNER Executive has been retained to find the founding General Manager of a current Power Solutions division within a Perth-based engineering, manufacturing and site services business. The mandate: enter the WA energy storage market, substations, BESS and stand-alone power systems, with board-level backing, approved budget and a clearly defined strategy. This is a genuine greenfield build, and a career-defining opportunity for the right leader.

The Chance:
Founding leader of a recent division: own the P&L; from inception, build the team, establish the market presence and deliver the first projects.
Ride the WA energy transition: a rapidly growing storage market backed by billions in state renewable commitments and active utility procurement programs.
Leverage a vertically integrated platform, engineering,



manufacturing and site services, to deliver turnkey solutions, with sister companies in the group for joint bidding on larger opportunities.
Your background: 10+ years in power, energy or renewables in Australia, with senior leadership experience and delivery across substation, HV, BESS, SAPS, microgrid or similar distributed energy projects.
An established WA energy sector network is essential, utilities, Tier 1 miners or IPPs.
Suited to an entrepreneurial, hands-on builder: someone willing to write the first bid, visit the first site and commission the first unit, then scale the team around them.
