The Survey Technician will be responsible for:
Carrying out field measurements and recording site levels, coordinates and existing features to support roadworks, drainage and earthworks projects.
Reading construction drawings and assisting with the set-out of culverts, pipelines, road alignments and excavation levels.
Processing field measurements, checking calculations and preparing site sketches, survey records and as-built information.
Checking completed works against design levels and dimensions, reporting discrepancies and assisting supervisors and surveyors with technical site requirements.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants must possess
A relevant Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Surveying, Spatial Science or a closely related discipline.




At least two years of relevant full-time work experience in surveying or civil construction surveying support.
Practical experience using surveying instruments and interpreting construction drawings.
Solid numerical skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate site records.
Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site supervisors and construction teams.
