About Role-

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Software Engineer for a permanent prospect based in Sydney. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support software solutions for Fixed and Mobile Auto Configuration Server (ACS) platforms and associated network management systems.

This role combines software engineering, network automation, system integration, and DevOps practices, with a focus on improving platform capabilities, device management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software components, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
Develop automation for device provisioning, diagnostics, firmware management, and monitoring.
Configure and test ACS workflows and device management transactions.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.
Develop automated test suites and support functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Troubleshoot production issues,



analyse logs, and perform root-cause analysis.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software development, testing, and troubleshooting.

Skills and Experience
Solid programming experience in Python, Perl, Golang, Java, or equivalent languages.
Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, branching strategies, and code reviews.
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, REST APIs, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, and IPv4/IPv6.
Experience troubleshooting production applications, integrations, and distributed systems.
Experience with ACS platforms, TR-069/TR-143, device provisioning, and firmware management is highly desirable.
SQL/MySQL database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting experience.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or Azure AI is beneficial.
