JS Careers is pleased to be partnering with a leading global financial institution to appoint a Senior Analyst within its Sydney-based Corporate & Institutional Banking Real Estate Originations team.

This opportunity sits within the growing Real Estate business and will play an important role in the continued expansion of the property lending portfolio. Working within the Originations team, the successful candidate will focus on originating and executing current-to-bank transactions, with exposure to current lending opportunities from initial assessment and structuring through to credit approval and transaction execution.

Role Responsibilities:
Origination, assessment and structuring of new-to-bank real estate lending transactions
Identifying and assessing new lending opportunities to support growth of the Real Estate portfolio
Developing client-specific financing proposals and pitch materials
Preparing detailed credit papers and recommendations for new transactions
Undertaking financial analysis, modelling and transaction due diligence
Assessing complex business, ownership and financing structures
Identifying,



assessing and mitigating key transaction and credit risks
Reviewing and advising on legal and financing documentation
Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction process

Candidates must also possess the following:
5+ years of Corporate and/or Institutional Banking experience
Robust real estate finance and commercial property lending experience
Demonstrated credit analysis, transaction structuring and risk management capabilities
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Experience assessing complex business and ownership structures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders
