We're seeking a hands-on, multi-skilled Metal Fabricator / Sheetmetal Tradesperson to join a growing small workshop in Hallam that values quality workmanship, team culture, and reliable people.

This is not repetitive factory production work. You'll be involved in a variety of fabrication projects working across stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium using a range of machinery and fabrication techniques. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and building quality products from start to finish — this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing
General Sheetmetal and metal fabrication
MIG & TIG welding
Fabricating and assembling custom components
Operating workshop machinery including:
Brake Press
Guillotine
Rollers
Drill Presses
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
Working on a variety of fabrication projects
Maintaining a safe and organised workshop

What We're Looking For




Trade qualified Metal Fabricator or relevant experience
Strong TIG and/or MIG welding skills
Experience with Sheetmetal fabrication
Positive mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Someone who enjoys working in a small team environment
Ability to work independently and get the job done

Highly Regarded
Laser cutting experience
Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel

Hours
Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Pay Rate
$35-$40 per hour depending on experience
